Elder Frampton's Mission

On September 17th, Chase had the opportunity to baptize and witness the baptism of a lady named Barbara and her three grandchildren named Junior, Sebastian and Steven. It was a very special day for Chase and his companion! He is enjoying his mission and has grown so much in his understanding and love for the gospel. He is a trainer once again, and said the President is keeping him on his toes! He loves working with the incoming missionaries and sharing his experience with them. He appreciates everyone's love and support and the letters that you send! What a great family we have!!!

Surviving the Remodel

In July, the night before we were to leave for Yellowstone, we went to bed at 10:00 p.m. It was raining hard outside but really didn't think to much of it except we were worried about Tiffanee's getting home safely. When she arrived home at 11:00 p.m. I stepped out of bed to see her and found myself in an inch of water. The rain came down so hard that it had run over our foundation and into our sunken bedroom. This all started a major remodeling project at our house, which lasted more than 9 weeks and was a little frustrating. Especially with remodeling both bathrooms at the same time, we had a working sink in one bathroom and a functioning toilet in the other, with holes in the wall between both. It made a bit interesting. Barring wanting to sometimes dismiss the crazy contractor, things have turned out and we are almost done.

Tiffanee's Senior Volleyball Season

Tiffanee is in the middle of her Senior Volleyball Season at Gilbert High School. She is playing opposite for the first time this year and is doing great! She loves the girls on her team and they are having a winning season. Currently they are #1 in their region and took second in the Goldwater Tournament a week ago.

Chase Experiences LA Earthquake in Long Beach

Today was Chase's P-day and we were e-mailing back and forth. He had just said good-bye when all of a sudden I received an e-mail that said, "Mom, I was just in an earthquake, that was really scary." That was the last thing that I heard from him. I didn't think much of it, after all it is California, until I turned on the T.V. and it was plastered everywhere on the news. It was a 5.4 earthquake which rocked the city pretty good. I am sure that Chase is fine, but it was quite an experience for him I can imagine.

Jackson Hole 2008

Tyler had never been to Jackson Hole or the Teton's so we decided to head that direction one day during the reunion. The Paul Frampton Family joined us which was really fun! We had our pictures taken at the antler arches, ate lunch and did some shopping!

We then headed for the Teton's, which were a magnificent sight!

Asia and the other children had fun playing in Jenny's Lake at the base of the Teton's!

Amber and Tiffanee enjoying the cool water and being with each other, cute sisters!

Another beautiful nature photo by Tiffanee! What georgeous country!

Yellowstone - July 2008

During one day of the reunion we all headed to Yellowstone. It was beautiful and the wildlife were amazing! We spotted this deer as it was crossing the river in the western part of the park. What a beautiful sight!

One of the many stops that we made while driving through the park. We love Yellowstone!

How close can you get to a buffalo? Tyler was trying to find out!

Tiffanee fell in love with all of the wild flowers throughout the park and took the most beautiful pictures for us to remember them by!

Our group became a tourist attraction in itself and we caravaned through the park with all of our vehicles and then tried to park and unload 35 people each time we saw an interesting sight! It was an amazing feat, but we managed to have a wonderful time!

Island Park Family Reunion

The Frampton Family Reunion headed north, with boat and four-wheelers in tow, to Island Park Idaho where we had a wonderful week with our Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and in-laws. The cousins especially enjoyed wakeboarding and tubing on the beautiful lake at the back of the lodge. It was a wonderful week and we want to thank Grandpa and Grandma Frampton for making it possible!

Off to Denver - Tiffanee at the Sparkler

During the last part of June and the first part of July, Amber and I went with Tiffanee to the Sparkler Tournament in Denver for 10 days. Half way through the trip, Dave and Tyler joined us to watch Tiffanee pitch in the All-Star game.

We spent the 4th of July at the ballfield and then joined Tiffanee's team for a BBQ and fireworks. We all had a great time getting to know the families better and then headed back to Denver where we watched fireworks from our hotel room.

While in Denver we had a chance to visit downtown, where we stopped in at Bubba Gump's Scrimp Co. for a yummy dinner and shopping. Denver is beautiful and we enjoyed our time there.

Meeting Chase's Investigator

In June, we were excited to have the chance to meet one of Chase's investigators Jason Kelly, when he came to town for a business convention. Jason and Paula Kelly are wonderful people and we were excited when Jason was baptized on June 29th, 2008. Jason played baseball at Cal State Fullerton and was a starter on the team when they won the college world series. We are sure that he and Chase had plenty to talk about between discussions!

Trip to New York!

At the end of May, Dave and Keri took a trip to New York with their good friends Mick and Melanie Conway. The first stop on the trip was Niagara Falls, which were beautiful and an amazing site to see...

Our second stop, after spending the night in a bed and breakfast near Palmyra, was the Joseph Smith Farm. It was a perfect day and our visit to the Sacred Grove on that lovely morning was something that we will never forget...

Dave's favorite part of the trip was our stop at the "Baseball Hall of Fame" in Cooperstown, NY, something that he had always wanted to do. We were able to see all of the memorabilia of his favorite old-time players from Babe Ruth to our current Diamondbacks such as Randy Johnson. We also stayed in Massachusetts at a beautiful resort in the mountains and had a chance to drive through Vermont and visit the birthplace of Joseph Smith. What a wonderful trip with good friends!
